Returns & Refunds Policy

Delivery

Bags are delivered within South Africa by The Courier Guy for a flat fee, shown at checkout. Once your bag ships, we'll email you a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

Cancelling your order

You can cancel for a full refund, including delivery, any time before your bag ships. Contact us as soon as possible with your order details.

Change of mind

You can return an unused bag within 7 days of receiving it, for any reason. Contact us first with your order details, then send the bag back unused, in its original condition and packaging. You pay the cost of returning it. Once we've received it, we'll refund the price of the bag.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your bag arrives faulty, is damaged in transit, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photos of the issue. We'll repair or replace it at no cost to you, including delivery. If that isn't possible, we'll issue a full refund.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method via Yoco. Processing typically takes a few business days once approved, though the exact timing depends on Yoco and your bank.

Who we are

This website, prettyabsurd.co.za, and everything sold through it is operated by Kaylah Bigwood, trading as Pretty Absurd, a South African sole proprietor. Pretty Absurd is not currently registered as a company or for VAT, as annual turnover falls below the thresholds that require it under South African law.

By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our Returns & Refunds Policy above. We may update these terms from time to time; changes take effect once posted on this page.

Products & pricing

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude delivery, which is charged as a flat fee at checkout. Colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen depending on your device's display. We take reasonable care to describe each piece accurately, but small variations in brocade pattern placement are normal, so no two bags are exactly alike.

Payment

Payment is processed securely through Yoco's hosted checkout. Your card details are handled entirely by Yoco and never stored on or pass through prettyabsurd.co.za.

Orders are paid in full at checkout.

Shipping

Checkout currently covers delivery within South Africa only. For orders outside South Africa, contact us first for a shipping quote before ordering — international freight isn't included in the listed price.

Intellectual property

All designs, photography, and content on this site belong to Pretty Absurd and may not be reproduced, copied, or used elsewhere without permission.

Liability

Pretty Absurd is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or a delay in production or delivery, beyond what is required by South African law. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
